Leah is entering her final year of law school at the University of San Francisco School of Law. Born in China and raised in North Carolina, she is thrilled to have relocated to the San Francisco Bay Area, and is here to stay (we hope).
Leah is passionate about empowering our clients to form the families that they deserve in the best interest of their children. She believes that everybody has a unique story and a unique journey to discover what a family looks like to them.
Leah started her family law career at a family law firm in her home state, where she managed intakes and assisted with legal work to move her clients’ lives forward. Here, at Fenchel Family Law, she excels at any task we put in front of her. Her favorite tasks so far involve working one-on-one with our clients. She is a people-person and has been excellent at working with our clients to refine their declarations in support of custody requests and requests for restraining orders.
When she is not taking care of our clients, Leah is behind the scenes, preparing pleadings and getting our exhibit binders ready for trial. It has been a pleasure to watch Leah grow into her role at Fenchel Family Law, and we write this bio with the hope that it will inspire her to return to us full-time upon graduating law school.
When Leah is not at our firm, she is trying new foods and asking strangers to pet their dogs. She also has a passion for film production and has made promises to help us with our firm tutorial videos—coming soon!
