Bio

Jessica Shaw is an associate attorney at Fenchel Family Law practicing family law.

She obtained a B.S. in History and Psychology from the University of California, Santa Barbara (2005) and her law degree from Golden Gate University School of Law (2012). After working 15+ years as a corporate paralegal, and later as in-house corporate counsel for Silicon Valley tech companies, she transitioned into family law. Jessica is licensed to practice law in California and is a member of the California Bar Association and Alameda County Bar Association (ACBA).

Jessica chose family law because it was always something she felt connected to. Coming from a broken home, she understands the importance of doing her part to help families during their most difficult time, and how critical it is to help them understand the complicated judicial process. Most importantly, Jessica ensures children are top priority. It’s imperative that the goals of both parents align for the best of the children, and she will always fight as an advocate on their behalf. Fair, and amicable resolution is what Jessica always works towards achieving.

Jessica currently volunteers through ACBA’s Legal Access Shriver Program providing limited scope representation to non-represented clients in Alameda County.
