Fenchel Family Law Senior Attorney Evelyn M. Rodriguez was profiled by News@TheU, the University of Miami’s news publication, in a feature tracing her path from corporate counsel in Venezuela to more than two decades as a family law litigator in the San Francisco Bay Area.
Rodriguez, who earned her LL.M. at the University of Miami School of Law, describes how her corporate background informs her work on complex asset division for tech entrepreneurs, executives, physicians, and other high-net-worth clients — an area that has grown as “gray divorce” rises among couples over 50. “My degree at UM helped me discover my passion for litigation—it’s where I found that I belong in a courtroom, not a boardroom,” she told the publication.
